Barry Scott - Jeremiah Strong
A Nashville native, Barry Scott wrote and starred in “Ain’t Got Long
to Stay Here,” a musical drama celebrating the life and times of Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr. Scott’s portrayal of Dr. King was so convincing, Coretta
Scott King complimented him on his realistic and honest depiction of her late
husband.
Scott’s film and television roles include a recurring role as a minister
in the series, “In the Heat of the Night” and appearances in “I’ll
Fly Away,” and “Rescue 9-1-1.” Scott directed and performed
countless stage productions such as “August Wilson’s ‘Fences,’” “The
Piano Lesson,” “Man of La Mancha,” “Camelot,” “To
Kill a Mockingbird,” “Macbeth,” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
